As we have established when you enter our website, East London does not necessarily conjure up a fair image!
Wapping may be a name you have never even heard of, and if you have, your probably not sure why!?!
In fact Wapping is part of a growing area in East London which is re-developing, expanding and becoming increasingly exciting and prosperous.
Like our trendy neighbours in Hoxton and Shoreditch, Wapping is full of charm, character and the odd celebrity! And whilst Wapping may sound like it is in the back of beyond, it is actually very accessible and more central than you think. In fact, we are one stop on the DLR from Bank (Shadwell station, 5 mins from us) and just a few stops the other way from Canary Wharf. We are walking distance from Tower Bridge and just a stroll along the canal from St Katherine's Docks.
Wapping itself is full of stunning river views, cobbled streets, yummy restaurants and traditional old London Boozers. Local conveniences include post office, chemist, chippy, pubs, delicatessen bakery and a Pizza Express (what else could you need!?)
St Katherine's Docks is arguably one of the nicest parts of London and a great place to take crew, talent or clients after a hard day's work. With many restaurants, bars and coffee shops it is an ideal after work location.
St Katherine's Docks is situated right next to Tower Hill station. Wapping station (re-openining 2010) is 5 minutes walk from us and Shadwell is also 5 minutes walk. So in total we can be reached by DLR, East London Line, District and Circle lines. We are also walking distance to London Bridge which accesses the Overground, Northern and Jubilee lines.
